My 4 year old threatens me thats he will not attend pre school if she doesnt get an ipad. what to do?

I'm at my wits end. I refuse to get her an ipad. She tells me that she will not be as smart as the other students without it. She also tells me that no one colors in coloring books anymore. I simply do not want to spend 600 dollars on a toy just to make her fit in with the other students. I do not like to force my children to do things but her refusing pre school is making me a bit frustrated. She told me she wants a twitter. im sure she doesnt even know what that is, i dont think its a good idea.
