Is it normal to have long hair in my *** cheeks?

Ever since I hit puberty Ive been growing hair inside my ***. I just ignored it at first but then it got longer... It itches a whole lot. I'd say its about 5 inches long. Does anyone have any advice on how to be rid this awful plague?
