Can you tell me about stalking charges?

i live in michigan. i have a clean record. me and m bf fight and argue and then we make up and get back together. sometimes are fights are pretty bad verbal and physical abuse most often on his end which isnt good at all i know... i told him i would go to the cops on him if he didnt start treating me better... we got into a bad fight and i filed for a ppo against him and it was granted although i never had it served to him and it is expired now. he found out i had the ppo on him adn flipped out... i dont see why since i never had him served and since i never called th cops and he never got in trouble... i tried to make up with him and be with him. i called him and text him left voice messages and i mailed him letters and all. i tried to stop by his house. i didint start any trouble. i didint make a scene. i dint bother his work or him at work. i didnt hurt him or make threats. all i was doing was trying to be nice and smooth things over and be with him. he told me that he would get me for stalking... i admit i did kinda go crazy with calling him and trying to contact him but i am harmless and i love him... i wouldnt threaten em or hurt em... i thought stalking was also being threatened or hurt or being afraid of someone and in fear of your life... needless to say i quit contacting him i figured id let him cool off and see what happens before any more trouble ws started... but what happens if he does report me for stalking? can he turn around and put a ppo (stalking) on me? can he file a report with the police for stalking? im a good person i have a little boy i have a clean record i never been to jail dont do drugs dont even smoke... what is the damage if he does decide to do this? thanks.
