Why do my parents like me being ignorant?

I'm sorry that you have to live through this situation but it looks like your going to have to deal with it yourself. You can buy books or even better use your laptop just look up ranodm facts they seem to always help surprisingly enough - no one with the internet can ever be dumb. get jobs and try to support yourself as much as possible, get friends or make friends and get out of the house - because you definently do not want people like your parents pressuring and/or breathing down you neck constantly. just try as ahrd as you can and make sure you put your sef out there and be known for things such as your smartness/niceness you'll be happy then. once your happy you can just move out or deal with you parents in a firm way. if matters get worse you can always dob 'em in to a school counsller, sorry if this doesnt make sense and hope i helped too.
